Adolf Hitler (20 April 1889 – 30 April 1945) was an Austrian-born politician who led the National Socialist German Workers Party. He was Chancellor of Germany (1933-1934) and Führer (1934-1945).
The Nazi Party gained power during Germany's period of crisis after World War I, exploiting effective propaganda and Hitler's charismatic oratory. The Party stressed nationalism, antisemitism and anti-communism, and murdered many of its opponents. The Nazis restructured the state economy, rearmed the armed forces (Wehrmacht), and established a totalitarian or fascist dictatorship. Hitler then pursued an aggressive foreign policy, with the goal of seizing Lebensraum. The German Invasion of Poland in 1939 drew the British and French Empires into World War II.
The Wehrmacht was initially successful and the Axis Powers occupied most of Mainland Europe and parts of Asia. Eventually the Allies defeated the Wehrmacht. By 1945, Germany was in ruins. Hitler's bid for territorial conquest and racial subjugation had caused the deaths of tens of millions of people, including the systematic genocide of an estimated six million Jews, not including various other "undesirable" populations, in what is known as the Holocaust.
During the final days of the war in 1945, as Berlin was being invaded and destroyed by the Red Army, Hitler married Eva Braun. Less than 24 hours later, the two committed suicide in the Führerbunker.
Hitler's reputation as a German leader was invincible, he conquered so many low and neutral countries in only 2 months, by his blitzkrieg.; he seized all of the enemy defenses, his reputation as a fuhrer had led him to his overrated acts as he launched the all out war vs britain by 1940 and also the operation barbarossa by 1941, his legacies had led the nazis victorious during those glory days of the third reich.
they almost win the war if hitler did not invaded USSR and remained ally for stalin as they both signed the Nazi Soviet Pact by 1939 i think. he is a good general but an overrated successor.
His Plans are effective, I usually use his strategy in company of heroes when i use the wermacht and the US Army.
I love his strategies, but i more refer my own tactic at the tactical games on Eisenhower's strategy.
