The rockets had played a great basketball in terms of perfect executions, great ball movement and making a statement to win this year in the playoffs.
About Tmac and Yao
I generally know Tmac as a ballhug kind of player, this year he never had all star appearance at new orleans, I believe they are now making some new adjustments and it is a preparation for the 2008 playoffs, flashback on 2004,05 and 07 was a complete nightmare for Tracy Mcgrady and the rockets, with the emergence of Yao Ming after the dream workout with Hakeem Olajuwon, he had contributed triple doubles averaging, 22 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists 1 block per game, he does a great job this year, im afraid he is injured,
Tmac Averages this year 22 points ,4 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 blocks per game. I saw some good ball rotation what a magical season for the rockets ,Rick Adelman is the man behind these ball rotations that rockets are making this year, i believe they’ll going to make in the second round if they continue doing these kind of system, they are showing to us right now that they can also make a statement and to be a contender, they proved that after beating the lakers during the preseason, i thought it Tmac will not gonna focus on the all star he’ll be quiet and will spark for the 2008 playoffs.
Mutombo’s emergence
Dikembe Mutombo had done a great job of replacing yao’s place, he is the man behind the rocket’s great defense as you can see the game vs new orleans hornets, he showed to us that he is still on his greatness in terms of block he made 1 block only but he shows to them that he cannot be denied in defense, his trade mark. Of a finger ahh ahh ahh hehehe, i like the rockets’ style of game so far. Its like i see the old sacramento kings play. Great basketball. Thats what everybody is been looking for.
Acquiring Steve Novak from the draft and the veteran Bobby Jackson from the New Orleans
Rick adelman caught Bobby Jackson once again, as you can see both these men Rick and Bob seen success with the sacramento back on 2002 as they seen greatness during that season. This year he accquired Jackson from mike james once again they are reunited again in the west, and i think they are ready to win it again for the playoffs this year. I hope they can make it to the 2nd round.
Steve Novac seen success with the Marquette University when he joined the three point shootout in the NCAA. in pros he averages 2-3 three pointers during the game last time against new orleans, he can help the rockets to climb uphill and make successfuly to the second round of the Playoffs.
Both Bobby and Steve are Three Pointers, as you can see, Luther head stepping up contributing threepointers per game. Shane Battier contributing also some threes and also getting all the charges for ball possesions and also take note rafer alston's success this year with the rockets. The veteran guard averages 12 points per game and 5 assists.
Bobby averages last year 40-49 three pointers a game last year as a hornet this year he averages 3-5 for houston. They can use him just like raja bell of the suns, contributing threes.
All i can is The Rockets are the Darkhorse of this year’s Playoffs. Better keep an eye on them, winning 19th strait is not a joke, better watch them. Rick Adelman had made a successful adjustments with houston this year. No doubt, he seen success with the blazers at 80s and with the Kings in 02.
