Pistons Wins in 4th over the spurs

Hamilton scores 25, makes key play to help Pistons beat Spurs 84-80

AUBURN HILLS, Mich.(AP) Richard Hamilton scored 25 and made an important three-point play with 20.6 seconds left, lifting the Detroit Pistons to an 84-80 victory over the short-handed San Antonio Spurs on Friday night.
After Tim Duncan missed a shot while being closely guarded by Rasheed Wallace, Hamilton connected on an off-balance shot from the free throw line after he was fouled and made a free throw to give Detroit a four-point lead.
Hamilton made two free throws with 11.5 seconds left and two more with 4 seconds left, sealing the win.

The Spurs were without Bruce Bowen (suspension) and Ime Udoka (right ankle).
Just when it seemed San Antonio was worn out, Tony Parker scored eight points as part of a 13-0 lead to take the lead on Parker's jumper with 4:22 left.
Two of the NBA's best teams in recent years then took turns with the lead with playoff-type intensity before Wallace put the Pistons ahead for good with a mid-range jumper with 2:05 left.
Parker scored 26 and Duncan had 20 points.
Manu Ginobili, San Antonio's leading scorer, had just nine points to fall well short of his 20-point average.

Detroit's Tayshaun Prince had 17 points and Wallace finished with 10.
Without their two defensive stoppers on the perimeter, the Spurs played a lot of zone defense and it led to Detroit making just 2-of-18 3-pointers.
Notes: Former Indiana coach Kelvin Sampson was behind San Antonio's bench again, continuing his informal role as a guest of Spurs coach Gregg Popovich. ... The Spurs have lost four straight on the road. ... With Bowen out for kicking New Orleans' Chris Paul, ending his consecutive games streak at 500, Prince took the league lead with his 338th start in a row.

My Recaps while watching the game

I was Jumping in joys as Rip and Detroit Made a Statement Tonight. Spurs Nothing to be ashamed, they led as many, thats a good game.

Hamilton and Wallace had both done a great job of executing great defense and offense, billups unable to spark but Hamilton does, as he sparked at 4th quarter of the game, as he shoots 5-7 from the line, as he carries the pistons in 4th with his 25 points.

Good game because San Antonio Leads at least 4 point over detroit in 3rd quarter, not exactly a lucky win for detroit. but a statement has been made, both had a great ball and player movement, they can execute great plays, what a basketball game for tonight.
