Gospel of Judas says:

detroit in 5.

the pistons will eat the leprechauns alive.

Jeffjan says:

Boston in 7.

Celtics-Lakers matchup all the way!

ans_lim168 says:

Boston wins 2-1 against Detroit in the regular season ...but then again this is a 7 game series...so again Celts in 7 on this one.

Katachore says:

Detroit in 6.

Boston did not win on the road vs Atlanta and Cleveland in the playoffs, I don't think they will do it now vs the well-rested and fresh Pistons.

The Pistons have no problem stealing one in Boston's home court.

Wag lang sana silang maging cocky...

Neverlander says:

^saka wag lang sila mag choke sa ECF.

Larry Legend says:

Sure, the Pistons are well rested but the Celtics are the hungrier team. I think this will be a 7-game series with Celts prevailing in the end. But will they have enough gas in the tank if and when they reach the NBA Finals?

rawdeo2k6 says:

i believe it will be detroit in 6... detroit bench is delivering in the playoffs compared to boston.. lucky lng cla knina kay PJ brown... the ZOO Crew will eat them alive.. Det-Lakers will be a better matchup in the finals..

St. anger says:

Dream finals or revenge against the pistons? hmmmmm

carshow says:

Im really praying for a Lakers-Celtics Finals but with the way the C's are playing, I cant imagine them getting past the Pistons.

Well, unless Ray Allen reverts to his All Star self...

robertson24 says:

Im not a Detroit fan, but im rooting for them... Haha ayaw ko manalo Celtics nakakaasar si Pierce ang yabang ng dating.....

raistlinmajere says:

Celtics in 6. They need to win a road game in this series to advance in the Finals. Pistons will not simply go away if you give them a chance to win in a Game 7.

Vhembol says:

detroit in 6.

Bathousay says:

celtics in 5!!!!

pwede rin in 4!!!!

di ako bilib dyan sa pistons, hanggang playoffs na lang yan, magmula ng mawala si coach larry brown!!!!

dianni says:

this will be a good game kasi ang detroit medyo lamang na sa crucial games at matagal na sila magkakasama...pero ang boston almost star player na ang line up... pero match pa din laban... manalangin n lang muna ang boston na di muna mkapaglaro si billups... kasi lalo sila mabibigatan sa detroit...hope maulit ang detroit nd SAS..

stingray1059 says:

6 years na in a row ang detroit sa eastern conference finals. NBA record na yun. kaso laging kapos pagdating sa east finals.

but most likely the team that wins 2 games first yun ang papasok sa championship at kung umabot ito ulit sa game 7, my bet is on detroit na. pustahan pa tayo ng pasaload.

santaclaus says:

Boston in 6.

Hudas will eat his words once again and face his fear of the lakers being spanked by the celtics in the finals

joekristoffer says:

Detroit in 6... Celtics in 7...

Ian_815 says:

hehehe, detroit in 7.. eventhough celtics are hungrier.. sa star players nila, ilan na ang nakapasok sa finals.. unlike detroit.. nagising sila sa philly series.. they toyed with the magic.. tsk tsk.. but still hoping for a lakers-celtics finals.. (wishful thinking)

pepman says:

Detroit in 5
Celtics in 7
hehe...

Peace.

white habbit says:

pistons in 6.

kookoorookookoo says:

Boston in 7

dlsukid says:

as much as i hate rasheed...

with the celtics 1st and 2nd rd performance, id vote for detroit to win this series

Red_Devil says:

Boston in 7

Undisputed says:

BOSTON WILL WIN THIS SERIES in 6.....

Celtics are very, very hungry in winning the NBA CHAMPIONSHIP..

theo78 says:

celtics in seven...but they will extend their road losing streak to nine...every home team wins...

oreo_kookie says:

PISTONS in 6!

although in the spirit of lakers-celtics finals. CELTICS IN 7!

franz_manu says:

pistons in si si sis siXXXXXXX!

redSign says:

pistons in six. they have proven they can win on the road, unlike the leprechauns.

jazzper says:

I'm always against the Celtics at the beginning of the playoffs, but this time I think the Celtics will go all the way to the finals but this series is neck to neck battle. I smell game 7 again for the third time around for the Celtics.

nitrate says:

lagot si allen kay rip... Pistons in 6, Boston in 7

Kobewankenobi says:

Before the playoffs, I originally thought the Celtics would go all the way in the East. Now I think the Pistons will make it in 7.

Jay P Mercado Says:

Yup...the leprechauns are gone...but Red's spirit lingers...

I don't know if the Celtics still have what it takes to pull through. There might not be any gas left in their tanks, having consumed this in 14 games in the playoffs. Which is surprising considering the team had the easiest time during the regular season, coasting along in the final weeks enough to ensure them of the top seeding all the way to the finals.

And it's not like the Pistons will hand the title to them on a silver platter or without effort. Detroit will surely bump and grind them and play physical all throughout, which will make it even worse for Doc Rivers' charges. Coupled with Chauncey Billups' return, it would be difficult for the Celtics to get past the Pistons despite the hometown edge...

Kobewabkenobi says:

Red's spirit lingers in the minds and hearts of Danny Ainge and Kevin McHale. But his spirit doesn't live in the hearts and minds of the coaching staff or most of the players.

The Celtics are basically one slip away from losing it all. They can't win on the road, and they've basically been lucky against weaker teams at home. That would be different against a strong team like Detroit.

brutallyhonest says:

we can look at it in two ways. either the celtics haven't won on the road or they haven't lost at home. They can afford to lose in the road but can't at home

and some might say that the series will be over if detroit steals one in boston. But what if the celtics steals one in detroit won't it be over??

Celtics in 6.. Rasheed is no match for KG. if allen plays well it will be lights out against detroit, the only mis match i see that's in favor with detroit is their pg billups, but he's not 100%.

brutallyhonest says:

talking about a strong team like detroit. 1st of all they're not the defending eastern champs Cleveland is. and last year nobody believed in cavs but they defeated detroit. If boston can beat the cavs they can beat detroit and to add. Lebron plays better this year than he did last year.

scqg says:

boston got away with atlanta and cleveland..but i don't think they can win over detroit especially with the way they have played so far in this year's playoffs.. i predict detroit in six.

pepman says:

Me too.Even thou a Celtic fan, this series may be crucial and probably, the most controversial series.I'd predict Celtics in 7 or Detroit in 5.

H.D. vision says:

Celtics may win in 7. It's a tough matchup, and I'm sure as hell that I don't want another Pistons Finals appearance. It's about time the Celtics strike back.

radiskull0415 says:

detroit in 7 pero injured ata si chauncy

jaypogi says:

laging may pangatlo kaya

celtics in 7

Garha says:

Boston in 7 =)

Lakers all the way baby!!

X-wind says:

Detroit in 6

Kobewankenobi says:

The difference here is that the Celtics have been routed twice on the road by the Cavs, and suffered a near rout (lost by 9) in one of their games in Atlanta. That means, the Celtics aren't excellent road warriors. Plus the fact that they haven't won on the road will hurt them.

On the other hand, the Celtics, while they have convincingly won against the Hawks, won two games at home against the Cavs by close decisions (meaning the difference is only five points or less). One bad break and the game could have gone either way.

So in all honesty, being bad road warriors, and having near losses at home is not a good combination for the Celtics.

True, Rasheed is no match for KG but the disparity is not really that big. Plus Rasheed can hit the three, which means, if KG is guarding him, Rasheed can move outside, drawing KG from the paint, making it easier for Detroit's perimeter players to drive to the basket. And they have the strongest PG in the league right now in ex-Celtic Chauncey Billups.

As far as other matchups are concerned, while the Celts have Paul Pierce, the Pistons have one who can D up on him in Tayshaun Prince. And the way Allen is playing, Hamilton has a slight edge on Ray-ray.

True the Celtics beat the defending Eastern Champs. But the defending Eastern champs aren't the same as the team last year. They're less athletic in the perimeter (Wally is not Hughes on D), and while they're stronger in the frontcourt, its not on O but on D. So that makes harder for LBJ as he has to shoulder a much bigger load
offense wise and that makes it easier to stop the Cavs this year than last year.

My feedbacks about the rumor is:

some are getting cocky when boston is on fire and talking trashes against the losers but if they lose they'll be no more cocky. outside my house lots of cocky people teasing at the pistons fans, just like here in the forum ive included.

I conclude that these guys are just saying their analysis but some of them are cocky and really annoying when it comes to bandwagoners and some freaking idiotic ideas about the pistons team, yeah you can mess with us but too much vs the fans man.

Ei pistons fans right there what do you say? they keep messing with your team and you celtic fan too. so just like soccer match they keep fighting for their team's moral.

yeah the celtics are the best right now hungry and playing well and the fans keeps on messing with the pistons and saying that only in the playoffs their shutdown heres something that these fans and they dont know it.

THEY DONT KNOW............. YOUR HEART

Yeah Ive Seen it........you showed it to me piston fans.........you were frustrated when detroit is losing.............. in game 1 we lost yeah ................ but in the next games of the series .............. we got to lay that heart in the field for the players and support them full force wherever they are in the world whether home or road.......... With that Heart We Cannot Lose yeah maybe we are under the series or the scoreboard but we cannot lose ........ we got heart of supporting these young and thundering pistons gunners.

this is how we do it for our pride piston team, this is how we will be remembered guys

WE ARE...............

PISTONS!!!!!!!!!!

Reapeat After me!!!!

Great Post!

Yes It is true that Pistons are not Perfect! It is true that we had opportunities that we blew! It is true that we almost won another RING against the Spurs but fell in game7.

In the end, we have always been together through the good and bad times!

Piston fans have always been Piston fans!!!

You don't see Bandwagons around the Palace of Auburn Hills!!! You see true fans awaiting another moment of GLORY!!! One day! And that day is very close.

peace!

I agree with what mustafa said. It's been around 4 years since I've become a fan of the Pistons and I think I'll stick to this team esp. in the bad times (of course, along with my Bobcats and Hornets).

Take note, I'm not a bandwagon fan.

DEEEE-TROIT BASKETBALL !!!

Piston fans will always be Piston fans!!! Know why? becoz everytime you think of leaving them behind, they come bouncing back in court with much action that'll make you love 'em again and shout "DEEEE- TROOIT!!!" they might've lost in game 6 but you'll be hearing from them again in no time. So, Piston fans, rest up becoz you'll soon be needing all that restored energy in the next season!!
