Kobe Bryant started slowly in a Game 1 win, but didn't hesitate during the Lakers' 101-71 home win on Friday.

Bryant scored eight of his game-high 22 points in the first quarter and rested for much of the fourth quarter.

Lamar Odom bounced back from a rocky performance in Game 1 to rack up 20 points and 12 rebounds, while Derek Fisher also rebounded from a sub-par showing with 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the floor.

The Spurs, who shot just 35 percent from the floor while struggling to find consistent offense, were led by Tony Parker with 13 points. Tim Duncan added 12 points and 16 rebounds.

The series will head back to San Antonio on Sunday for Game 3 as the Spurs try to avoid the falling into a 0-3 hole on TNT at 8:30 p.m. ET.
