Detroit might run better with all of its starting Pistons, but the absence of Chauncey Billups for Game 4 didn't stop the No. 2 team in the East from motoring past the Orlando Magic 90-89 on Saturday to take a 3-1 series lead.

Tayshaun Prince hit the game-winning layin with nine seconds left as the Pistons sealed their comeback from a 15-point third-quarter deficit. Prince finished with 17 points and Richard Hamilton kicked in a game-high 32. Rasheed Wallace added 16 points and eight rebounds.

The slow start and surging finish for the Pistons worked in reverse for the Magic. Jameer Nelson scored 10 of his 15 points in the first half as Orlando shot 56.4 percent from the floor before intermission to take an 11-point lead into the locker room. The hot start cooled down quickly as Orlando watched the Pistons take a 26-7 run into the fourth quarter to lead 82-75 at the 5:17 mark.

Hedo Turkoglu scored 13 of his 20 points in the fourth as the Magic regained the lead down the stretch, but Orlando's sharpshooter didn't get much help. Nelson had one point in the final stanza while three of Rashard Lewis' 15 came in the quarter. Dwight Howard went scoreless but for two free throws in the final three quarters, picking up his only three field goals in Game 4's first five minutes.

The teams return to The Palace for Game 5 on Tuesday, when the Pistons have the chance to close out the series.

its our turn!!
