Lakers Escape, Take 3-1 Series Lead
The Lakers, who are a perfect 7-0 at home in these playoffs, are now just a home win away from a trip to the NBA Finals. Kobe Bryant scored a team-high 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead his Lakers past the Spurs, 93-91, on Tuesday night in San Antonio.
Though the Spurs never led, they had their chances. The most notable of those opportunities to take the lead was on the game's final possession, in which Brent Barry -- who scored a playoff career-high 23 points -- up-faked and tried to draw a foul, but missed the mark on a 3-point attempt that would have won the game for the Spurs.
Tim Duncan led all scorers with 29 and pulled down a game-high 17 rebounds, and Tony Parker added 23 points for San Antonio.
Trailing 3-1, the defending champs now have to win their next three games for a chance to defend their crown. Game 5 comes your way Thursday night from Los Angeles at 9 ET on TNT.
That is what i am talking about see there you go!!
the lakers are taking the advantage. they are back on track and they are ready to dump this san antonio spurs out of the playoffs. the referees are doing their job to eliminate their opponent team which is the spurs. well they are taking over the series.
dick bavetta is the only referee that i am really proud off, he really doing a great job for his duty, calling clear fouls and some errors. at least he is fair and not a bias like others.
This year. LA and San Antonio will be the most contraversial rivalry of the year.
lots of critics and analyst will argue about it and also fans will do the arguing too
in youtube, pinoyexchange.com and some other external sites. and forums.
i believe spurs got owned these year and they will bounce back next year and win again the championship. alternative championship is what san antonio is doing right no over and over again. It reminds me the Lakers and Jazz during the 2nd round of the playoffs.
Pau Gasol is very lucky man this year congratulations for kobe and the rest. they did a great job but just a dirty calls from referees.
great job LA see you in the finals

Oh No!!! My worst fear when this series started has now become a reality.
I had my fair share of concern on whether Spurs old bodies were willing to give in for another tough series.
Manu was extremely aweful and I feel very sorry for him that he can't do much to avoid this defeat.
It's not over yet and almost looks like it, unless as true Champions they can bounce back from this.
I will question the team morale at the moment. After all they did had Game 1 in their hands and they lost it!!!
We'll just have to see how.
Anyway, your thought on the game....
